Happy hour in Hawaii is called “Pau Hana”. Translated literally from Hawaiian, pau means finished and hana means work. It is a beloved local term that refers to the time after work when people wind down, socialize, and have a tropical drink. This festive print by artist Laura Hankins of has all the “Aloha” of a Hawaiian vacation. A bright minty green background hosts pineapple and coconut drinks, paper umbrellas included! A recent trip to a favorite place in Provence, Saint Rémy de Provence, inspired me to look for something that captures the legendary lavender fields of the South of France. Canadian artist Elena Dri of is known for her hand painted watercolors and line drawings and this beautiful rendition of these fragrant fields is so perfect you can almost smell the lavender. I love these with the French quilted placemats I found at the Wednesday Market in Saint Rémy and the fun napkin rings in a little shop in town!
