After reading a response (on a random post, deep down a rabbit hole) from a blind man using assistive devices to read content, and how much it helped him feel included, Iʻve decided to build a more inclusive community. Iʻm shifting things around to make our posts a bit more accessible to all readers and consumers. Some captions may be redundant.

For my homies on the spectrum and struggling, for those that laugh a little at the tip-toe responses around suicidal thoughts.. Here are some no BS quotes to help remind you to stay. Stay for today, tonight, and tomorrow. Emergency mode edition.

1. Future you is begging you to hold on.
2. Youʻve survived everything so far. Donʻt stop now.
3. Donʻt kill yourself. Youʻre still needed here.
4. If you can read this (or hear this) you can survive another minute.
5. Pause. Step back. You matter more than your thoughts.
6. This is not your finish line.
7. Youʻre not failing at life. Youʻre overwhelmed by it.
8. Your story doesnʻt end like that… and DEFINITELY not today.
9. Staying alive is an act of rebellion.

Dear Veterans, we thank you for everything you do and have done for us. From one veteran to another, all the “little” or hidden sacrificies that you bury deep donʻt go unnoticed by us. I know today was likely hard as f**k, with a constant reminder of the ones weʻve lost. I know many of you are drowning your sorrows but I need you to stay. Letʻs break the stigma. Letʻs get the help we need through community, therapy, whatever it takes. Letʻs lower the negative statistics. I know itʻs hard, but I promise you, it can absolutely get better. Even if you donʻt think it does, your life absolutely matters. Please stay to share a story, a hug, a laugh, a cry, anything. Please stay for the sunrise, if nothing else. When the sunrise comes, stay for the sunset, and so on. Find the smallest bits of beauty in this world, I know you can. If you know a vet, please reach out to them to see how you can help them. If someone came to mind while reading this post, please reach out to them.. Itʻs likely for a reason. If youʻre feeling weak, please reach out to us. This isnʻt monitored 24/7 so if you need immediate assistance, please call 988, or text 838255.

Right now, there are so many people feeling exactly as you are. People lost in their minds, thinking about all the s**t theyʻve been through, and wondering how the hell theyʻre going to continue.

Right now, there are so many people that felt exactly as you are. People lost in their minds, thinking about all the s**t theyʻve been through, and wondering how the hell they made it through.

Many lost in their own self-discovery, learning to love the little things, chasing that glimmer of warmth inside, and crying because they actually feel happy after many long nights.

There are many that have overcomed and are on their path of helping others - like you - find theirs.

The point is, you DEFINITELY are not alone. The best place to be is looking toward someone that is one step ahead of you, while holding the hand of the person behind you.

We can all help each other. We all have something to give, a story to tell, words to share, regardless of what stage each of us are in.

Whatʻs your go-to move that helped you pause or stop your ideations?

Simply put;
• Movements create new energy
• Strengthen & repair your mind-body connection
• Streamline your emotional processing

The biggest goal or motivation, should be to help change your current state. There are lots of different ways to do that, so find one that works best for you.

It’s probably going to feel uncomfortable at first. It might feel like you’re faking it a bit. Maybe you are, maybe you have to. Over time, it gets easier as you start “habit stacking” the healthier habits on top of your ideations.

Reaching out to someone and letting them know how appreciative I am of them usually leaves me feeling so much better than before. I like to let other people know pretty much the exact words that I would like to hear from someone else one day. It’s a small way we can give, and it costs little to nothing, but likely has a huge impact on their day.

My next favorite is getting my body moving and going to the gym. It not only helps the mental battles by helping release those endorphins, but also helps me push out any sadness or negative feelings I might have. There’s something about being around other people that makes me push myself further. If you’re unable to go to the gym, then try stretching or doing some yoga & meditations at home.

These not only help you produce serotonin and dopamine, but can force you to bring yourself into the present moment instead of worrying about the past or the future.

These will all help you begin paving new mental paths for healthier, long-lasting habits.

I KNOW. It sounds like an impossible place to get to. I also know that creating time so I can create, and work on one of my passions, always phases into me feeling better.

Maybe it’s that tiny bit of “Hey, this is a piece of me, existing in this world now”.
Maybe it’s an extension of your voice.
Maybe it’s a way to share what you really think and feel about anything and everything.
Maybe you’ve forgotten your love for the infinite possibilities of that project you’re working on.
Maybe you realized somewhere throughout your creative process you stopped spiraling negatively and let yourself BE for a little bit.

A place without bounds..
.mental, or physical.

Or spiritual
Think about it.. Isn’t that essentially a real life example of an instant reward, but it’s for s**t we actually want to do.
In this realm, there’s always time. Set a timer and just do. What’s your priority?
