Join Savoy Swing Club tomorrow night (10/4) for live swing music at the Lowdown Ballroom! Come at 7:30 p.m. for Undre Reed's Solo Jazz & Jig Walks class, then dance to Djam Four's irresistible high-energy jazz at 8:30! Admission is still only $8 to $15, or FREE for SSC members. A band this good in such an intimate setting is a rare treat!

Had a great time playing KOBO yesterday! Beautiful spot and fun crowd!
Another fun clip from last Friday. This tune is called Minor Swing, written by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli in 1937. This is a Hot Club de France signature tune, but it's definitely an odd one. No main melody, just an intro, outro, and series of chord sequences in A minor to solo over.
