Our chocolate bars begin coming into existence way before we take our first step in the process of roasting the cacao beans. It all starts at the farm where the Theobroma cacao trees are grown. Hacienda Palo Santo is an organic cacao farm in Ecuador that we love so much we make all of our chocolate using their single origin beans. πŸ’•

We sent some bars to them as a gift and they returned the favor by taking some pics for us! πŸ’•πŸ«

We hope to some day make our way to visiting their farm in person! For now we are thrilled that our handmade chocolate bars have made the trek over ... building a bridge between our small island in the Pacific Northwest to this beautiful farm in Ecuador! πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¨πŸ«πŸ’•πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
