What is PRIDE Commander?
“For the Magic Presents: Pride event, treat all eligible commanders as though they had the partner ability. This allows players to add an additional commander to a deck they already have or use a never-before-seen combination of two commanders to helm a totally new deck.

Commanders that already have abilities like partner won’t let players have more than two commanders at this event, but we applaud the enthusiasm. Remember that the extra commander still counts towards the 100 total cards in a deck.” - info by WPN

So get creative! This is a great moment to partner up your dream team of commanders, make a gimmicky or silly deck, or push yourself to build something you’ve never tried before.

Queen Anne Wine Walk is today!

We are participating again so we will be hosting a winery and wine tasting in-store!

If you are planning on stopping by Blue Highway or other shops along Queen Anne Ave around or during the time of the event, please be prepared for less parking availability, crowds, and busy shops.
During Wine Walk events, our shop can get pretty loud and busy, including our playspace so table space may be hard to come by. However, once the Wine Walk ends at 7p, typically the crowds die down and tables clear up quickly. We are open till 11pm tonight for our normal Saturday hours so feel free to stop by after 7p to shop or play games if you’d like to avoid the hustle & bustle!

Play games and enjoy tasty brews in a cozy atmosphere!

Details:
-Valid IDs required to enter event & participate
-Each participant will receive 2 drink tickets to redeem on the featured beers or any other drink in the fridge (beer and nonalcoholic beverages).
-Attend solo, with a date, or friends!
-Tables are first come, first serve. For large groups, we highly recommend arriving around 7p for the best chance at a large table.
-All participants are entered into a game raffle! Participants must be present at time of the raffle (around 8:30p) to receive the game.
-Bring your own game or borrow one from our game library! Our library is filled with hundreds of games of all varieties, you’ll find party games, card games, classics, 2players, and strategy games from light and quick to heavy and complex. Our staff is happy to give recommendations to any folks looking to try something new!

We added another Secrets of Strixhaven Prerelease Event to our schedule! Due to high demand and a surprise increase in our kit allocation!

It’s here! The 24 Hour Game Marathon is officially scheduled! This highly anticipated Blue Highway Games annual tradition is one of a kind. Sigh Ups are open and seats are filling up fast.

Attend solo or with a friend! All gaming experience levels welcome. For new to the hobby gamers, this experience will be a bit like diving into the deep end!

And due the popularity of this event, we ask folks to only sign up if they are able to commit to attending and planning on sticking around for at least half of the event (~12 hours). The spirit of the event is to play games through the day and night, embracing the exhaustion until we all hit that point of goofy delirium! It’s a whole lot of fun and worth the lack of sleep!
