New Hope Deaf

Hi everyone. It’s time to retire. This started back in January. For 30 years I’d felt God’s hand telling me to stay at NewHopeDeaf. Then His hand started moving off. Lots and lots of prayer. “What did I do wrong?” What came back was, “Nothing. I have new plans for you. It’s time.”

I talked with family. After praying, they agreed. I talked with close friends, some pastors. They agreed, and I thank God for their prayers. Sunday, July 7, I told our Deaf leaders so they could be praying. They’ve done a great job of that. This last Friday and Sunday I told our Zoom church and Sunday church.

NewHopedDeaf now has two weeks to decide what God wants with NewHopeDeaf. Stay a full church and try to find a pastor. Or become a Bible study for now. Or thank God for everything He’s done and shut down. I will help them, but they must decide. They have two weeks to pray and ask God what’s next for them.

Decision time is August 2nd and 4th.

My last days preaching will be Friday, September 6, for the Zoom church and September 8 for the Sunday church. We’ll let you know about the decision and future plans.

Jesus has been faithful, is faithful, will be faithful. He has good plans for all of us, and I look forward to seeing what they are.
