Imagine being 14, and you’re out on your own. The streets. No one is there for you, no one can help guide you. That was a reality for the man I’m this video, Chef Shawn Tibbitts. Despite this obstacle, staring down the face of addiction, and coming from a place of absolutely nothing, Shawn was able to create one of the most sought after restaurants in Tacoma, Washington. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of learning a bit more about Shawn’s story while I went with him on one of his farm runs. He later cooked me one of his signature dishes, the lobster bomb. I filmed it. I’m in the editing process now. I will be posting the full video in a week or so on my YouTube channel.
