On Indigenous Peoples Day, we pause to honor and reflect upon the First Peoples of this land. Since time immemorial, they have lived and still live in every ecosystem across this continent. One holiday is far too little, but it may be a time to remember what we can learn from Tribal nations and Indigenous communities.

To honor this special holiday, we invite you to support Indigenous art and storytelling by joining us on October 16 in Seattle for the launch of Se’Si’Le and Braided River’s newest publication: In the Spirit of Right and Respectful Relations: Conversations about Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Being in Nature.

When: Thursday, October 16, 7.30 p.m.
Where: The Wyncote NW Forum. 1119 8th Ave. (Entrance off Seneca St.) Seattle, 98101
Tickets: townhallseattle.org/event/in-the-spirit-of-right-and-respectful-relations/
