After 30 years, this sports retailer to close its Seattle doors - Puget Sound Business Journal “I was sitting down watching this unfold on television thinking, ‘I’m done.’”

- Beau and his godson Alex at the original 2nd Base location on Capitol Hill. Alex is now a journalist and probably a bit too big for Beau to carry around, but he still stops by for the shop for his outdoor gear needs.
