It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the tragic passing of Vitali Siumbeli on February 15. Vitali, who graduated from Seattle University in 2017 with a BS in Electrical Engineering, is fondly remembered throughout our department as a kind and genuine person, devoted to learning, and a loyal friend to many in the Seattle University community. His presence touched the lives of classmates, faculty, and staff alike, and he will be deeply missed.

A GoFundMe page has been created to help support his wife and daughters during this difficult time. If you would like to contribute, you can do so here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-for-tatyana-siumbelis-family

Oh what a Networking Night! A big turn out of ECE students enjoyed a fantastic keynote speech from Mary Jesse, followed by some real-life networking with industry professionals. A big thanks to our student IEEE team for their help in organizing this annual event.
