Many Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. Many indoor facilities and Colman outdoor pool will be closed, while parks, sprayparks, golf courses, Mounger outdoor pool, and select swim beaches will remain open.

Heads‑up Woodland Park visitor!
Construction is beginning on
📍Lower Woodland Playfield #1 (Seattle Mariners All-Star Legacy Field)
📅 June 23 to late August 2026.
Our contractor, Field Turf USA, will close the entire field for construction, and some parking along 5100 Green Lake Way N. will be temporarily used for construction staging. The project includes new turf for the in‑field and bullpens, supporting Seattle Parks and Recreation’s investment in safe and sustainable playfields.

There are still some open spaces in several weeks for our Preschool Summer Camp with Teacher Marcy. These are themed weeks and the kids always have a blast!
