Ashish Yoga

We had the most amazing time in this beautiful place with the most welcoming people. Everything was well thought through, from food choices for all dietary restrictions, to the excursions. It gave us an opportunity to connect with the power and beauty of nature. And connect within. That in turn opened us up to each other, making us feel like family, even though most of us hadn't met each other before. ♥️

I love playing with inversions on the beach. The sand, while messy, can help provide the cushion to let go of some of the fear. I remember doing headstands and crow in Bali in 2015, the year I started my asana practice. And last few years it's been handstands.
There was a lot of struggle with "sticking" it in this pic on our Hawaii trip, which happened right after my bout with Covid. This pic was a candid thanks to my mom 😁
But of course I still had a lot of fun.

Inversions and arm balances are a great way to be in play, letting go of expectations. Discovering how judgment and comparisons show up. Working on letting them go. And that's likely one of the reasons they are a big part of the yoga asana practice.
