Are you Black, expecting a baby, and interested in learning about lactation? Join us for our Prenatal Lactation Education!

This two-hour class is open to all expectant Black families and pregnant people of the diaspora. The class will be taught by Shevonne Tsegaye, an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and will be offered at no cost. Learn about the benefits of breastfeeding, techniques, ways to prepare for nursing your baby, and how to make your lactation journey as easy as possible!

With the majority of IEPs written in March, April, and May we’re launching a series for the next four months to make understanding the special education system easier for parents and caregivers. Tuesday night, Rachel Nemhauser from The Arc of King County will present We’ll also have an opportunity for people to talk with one another.
