We are considering adding a Rooibos blend to our March box so thought it was perfect timing to share this recipe for Apple Jack from my friend Linda Wilson of Rooibos Rocks! Check out the recipe and let us know if you would like a rooibos tea in your box next month!

Rooibos Apple Jack - Better than an apple a day: Today's is a winner on so many levels. I had a few apples past their prime so I roughly chopped them into a pot and simmered with water and some lemon, ginger, my fave spices (use star anise/cinnamon/cardamon or whatever you fancy) for 10 minutes. Then I turned off the heat and added Rooibos Rocks tea bags (about 1 per cup of water) and left to steep and cool. Strain and chill. Apple peals will work just fine too, as will many fruit...go wild, experiment and share your feedback please. This is just divine, kids love it too.
A packed with and a great way to reduce waste.

Got a spa date this weekend? Sip it spa-style

Juice 1 medium cucumber and 1 lime and add to a pitcher of green tea with your favorite sweetener, to create a thirst-quenching, spa-inspired drink. Want to make it boozy? Add 1/2 cup Hendrick's gin—its floral and cucumber taste makes it a great match.
