Simulated Immersive eXperimental Realities (SIXR) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing underrepresented communities of varying socio-cultural and economic background with early access to emerging technologies. In order to narrow the digital literacy gap and to secure the community's futures and pull them out of poverty, they need to be able to compete in the growing economic segments of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM). Our mission is to empower these communities with access to resources to break the cycle of exploitation among the most vulnerable.
