The second act of the night this Friday will be the newly formed duo "Kalvin Clein" which comprises De La Cremé head Karl Kamakahi and the Rev. Love Virus of the Psychedelic Church of Love and Music. Both of these DJs have storied careers, so it will be awesome to check out what happens when they come together!

When Karl approached me about playing Soft Option's Afro-Latino night at Monkey Loft, it was an automatic yes. I'm Colombian, and Latin music isn't just something I grew up with - it runs through my blood. Being part of this night hits on a different level.
Every DJ and selector on this lineup brings their own signature sound - and we're all Latino. Latin music moves through everything: house, techno, tribal, classics... it's not one lane, it's a whole spectrum. And you're going to feel that the second you walk into the room.

I’m really stoked for this lineup ! I want to thank Ruth Posada for being such a solid friend and amazing Dj! I asked her to be a part of the platform, to do more than just play music she has selected this lineup. I have a feeling it’s gonna be the best Afro Latino show we’ve ever put on ! Thank you Ruthless it’s gonna make for such a memorable night all our DJs that we have are top shelf and I’m proud to have them. We are proud to have them we started this party three years ago and it’s only gotten better and better and better and I have a feeling tonight will probably be the best one Yet, so please come and rock with us!
