This is a great example of a situation where it was possible to extend the color slightly beyond the natural lip border.

With this client, we agreed to go just a tiny bit outside the lower lip line, only by a couple of hairs’ width. Over time, her natural lip border had become less defined, and she wanted her lips to be more visible without using lip fillers.

🤍 Before the procedure, we discussed all the pros and cons, including how pigment placed outside the natural border may age and fade differently over time. After reviewing all options together, we decided this conservative enhancement was the right choice for her goals.

✨ While traditional PMU guidelines often recommend staying strictly within the natural lip border, there are occasional cases where a very subtle extension can create a beautiful, natural looking result when done thoughtfully and with full client understanding.

The healed result shows how a small adjustment can make the lips appear more defined while still looking soft and natural.
