This collaborative video program was created in partnership with six museums throughout the country, including our very own local Northwest African American Museum.

Hello lovely community! Today, our state is starting a new phased approach to opening back up, and so are we. We are purchasing new cleaning supplies, updating our safety protocols, and restructuring our clinic so that we can continue to be as safe as possible. At this point, we do not have a reopen date set. That determination will be made in accordance with direction from the medical experts and through continuing to prioritize the lives of our community members who are most at risk. We miss you all, and hope you are managing well through this unique and challenging time. Please everyone, continue staying safe, and continue taking care of each other. Please join us in welcoming Alex Flores to our Sloth Around Family! Alex graduated with Masters degree in Oriental Medicine from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2012 and completed an externship at Kyung Hee University in Seoul, S.Korea focusing on musculoskeletal and temporomandibular disorders.

Alex writes: Some of my first experiences with acupuncture were as an intern at a Chinese Medicine clinic in Bellingham. Individuals came in with severe discomfort and by the end of their visit, leaving with a smile. What was ailing them either dissipated or disappeared completely. These extraordinary experiences alone made me want to pursue something so life changing! I want to support many people with acupuncture to live an optimal and pain free life full of health and vitality!
I have treated many conditions successfully such as plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, Bell’s palsy, headache/migraine, fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression, fatigue, joint pain, sciatica and any acute to chronic pain conditions.
