If you would have asked me eight years ago if I would have ever found peace being childfree I would have shook my head no.

At that point, I was still on my last ounce of hope that it would happen for me too.

I think with time however I’ve realized that I’m actually quite happy not having children of my own and getting to be the best auntie I can be.

I also realize I really truly love my solitude and quiet and get really overstimulated with kids 24/7.

I guess the moral is, that with time and perspective, maybe you can find peace too.
