Working with the West Seattle Rhodies FC was fantastic! The team is amazing and supporting a hyper local, woman owned organization makes it. Pulling in West Seattle Food Bank was perfect. They are a key player in making Collaborations like this keep the fire burning. ⚽️ 🔥🔥

Yeah, that right there is an original Type 2 15 Window VW van. My brothers playpen apparently fit perfectly in the back. Who needs a car seat?! My folks were in Tacoma, my dad flying C-141s out of McChord AFB and Ben was about 2 years old. Circa 1967 Happy Veterans day.

Sometimes, we create things that, in the big picture, don’t leave a lasting mark. But every so often, we get the rare opportunity to contribute to something that truly matters.

I’ve been deeply grateful for the chance to support my neighbors here in West Seattle for the last four years through work with the West Seattle Food Bank—a team that’s nothing short of extraordinary. They are relentless, resourceful, and committed to saying yes to anyone who walks through their doors.

Their mission is urgent and unwavering: to keep people fed, housed, clothed, and supported as they rebuild. In 2024 alone, the West Seattle Food Bank distributed over 2.5 million pounds of food, provided nearly $1 million in rent and utility assistance, and gave out more than 85,000 articles of clothing to our neighbors in need.

Creating a video for them feels like a small gesture compared to the enormous impact they have every single day. Still, I’m incredibly proud of what our team was able to contribute. Spending time with their clients—people just like you and me—was a powerful reminder that the line between stability and struggle is thinner than we think.

If you're looking for a meaningful way to give back, start with your local food bank. Volunteer. Donate. Every bit helps. And it does make a difference.

Thanks to the team of folks that helped out on the project. @agelizz @camilledurandvideoeditor @thekmpi @dave_gross_keys @koerner_camera @allietheseabird @jasonpuccinelli @mrdarceye @christinimcb Thank you all! 05/24/2025
