The cold wind in my ears irritated me on my walk today. Then I remembered how great it was to be walking. https://www.forbes.com/sites/womensmedia/2016/12/21/how-to-train-your-brain-to-go-positive-instead-of-negative/
How To Train Your Brain To Go Positive Instead Of Negative Our brain is not designed to create happiness, as much as we wish it were so. Our brain evolved to promote survival. You can end up with a lot of unhappy chemicals in your quest to stimulate the happy ones, especially near the end of a stressful workday.

As a little girl I dreamed of playing college basketball. I had a strong skill set and a natural talent for the game. In high school my confidence levels plummeted, and it wasn't until I worked with a confidence coach that my game turned around completely. I had my magic back! That season determined whether or not I would get to achieve my goal of playing college sports. This photo is from my senior year of college, a starter, team captain, recipient of the Outstanding Leadership award, and NCAA Academic All-American. Real change can happen when we get positive, set realistic goals, and change the way we think. Sign up for your FREE 30 minute Confidence Coaching call today!

Confidence isn't always about feeling fearless. Confidence often comes alongside moving through fears and showing up honestly and openly, exactly as we are.
The highlight of my holiday vacation was bouldering for the first time with this positive and supportive group of friends. Before starting I had a story in my mind that I wouldn't be strong enough to climb. I showed up anyway and scaled several walls that day! Each boulder had routes identified by color that indicated the level of difficulty. By meeting myself exactly where I was, expecting nothing more or less, I experienced the thrill of being pushed to my edges, and am now confident in my ability to scale walls!
