“...but then he just balled up his fist and said, ‘I hope you like hospital food.” Visit http://w3seattle.com/blog/ to find out why Tom Kundig punched Jack Daws.
Olson Kundig Architects begins 2014 with the launch of Itinerant Projects, a multi-year program consisting of a series of site-specific collaborative installations to be located around the globe. Itinerant Projects installations will explore the nexus of design, culture and social practice. The Itinerant Projects program is the next evolution of Olson Kundig’s [storefront], which debuted in 2011. [storefront] functioned as an experimental workspace and became host to eighteen public events and installations organized around the question: “What can we do together that we cannot do alone?” Itinerant Projects will carry on the tradition of interesting partnerships that will undoubtedly yield unusual outcomes, and we are excited to continue to share these moments with you here. The director of Itinerant Projects is Olson Kundig Architects principal/owner Alan Maskin.
Look for more changes to come on this page as we transition from [storefront] to Itinerant Projects.
The numbers are in—thanks to your generous support, and in partnership with the Georgetown Brewing, we raised $1,872 at the third annual Bob’s Brown Ale Fundraiser. This donation will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska.
