The Bad News: interest rates went up this week. The : The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), through the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), announced a 30-basis point reduction to the annual mortgage insurance premiums (annual MIP) charged to homebuyers who obtain an FHA-insured mortgage! That pesky MIP is always a bummer for buyers (especially on FHA loans), but for a $550k mortgage this will save a buyer almost $140/month on MIP! A step in the right direction for housing

Very pleased to get this 6plex listed and closed for our seller client and for top dollar! We went under contract at the top of the market in early April and after a circuitous transaction are now closed and enjoying increased inventory for our 1031 exchange search - talk about timing the market!
