Su***de rates are rising among younger adolescents and preteens (ages 12–14), both nationally and here in our community.

Many youth are feeling targeted and unsafe in today’s political climate, including trans and nonbinary youth facing barriers to care and immigrant and refugee youth living with fear and uncertainty.

At WAPI Community Services, we help youth and families navigate pathways to care. We provide substance use disorder services, early intervention, referrals, and connection to supportive resources, with a focus on culturally responsive and affirming support. No one should have to figure this out alone.

If you or a young person needs immediate support, help is available 24/7 through the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. Call or text 988, or learn more at https://988lifeline.org/learn/

Learn Understanding the issues concerning su***de and mental health is an important way to take part in su***de prevention, help others in crisis, and change the conversation around su***de.
