Journeymen
Helping boys become wholehearted men Journeymen is a newly formed 501c3 organization currently based on Vashon Island, WA.
“A space where boys can just be boys.”
In Journeymen, young men get something rare: a judgment-free circle away from the noise, where they can be honest, build trust, and practice accountability.
Not because someone is forcing them.
Because they’re learning to choose it for themselves.
This is what growth can look like:
trust, responsibility, and becoming more honest about what’s really going on.

There’s a difference between reporting and building rapport.
In Men’s Council, we practice moving beyond the surface — beyond the updates, the roles, the usual patterns — into real connection.
For many men, it can feel unfamiliar at first. But what often emerges is something deeply needed: authentic conversation, honest friendship, and a sense of belonging.
A place to speak more truthfully.
A place to be met as you are.

Before adolescence, there is a powerful in-between.
A season where young people are beginning to test who they are, how they relate, what they feel, and where they belong.
They need play.
They need challenge.
They need trusted adults.
They need space to build confidence from the inside out.
Voyagers is Journeymen’s 5-day day camp for boys ages 8–11 — rooted in nature, mentorship, emotional growth, and meaningful peer connection.

“Boy culture can be guarded.”
Tom Schute from O’Dea High School shares how Journeymen helps young men move from screens and guardedness into face-to-face trust.
Through small groups, mentorship, and honest conversation, boys get the chance to listen, speak openly, and honor each other’s stories.
This is how community is built.
