A message from Ana Wieman - Academic Student Services, Environmental Studies:

This is an invitation to give your input on the direction of the Environmental Studies major in the whole Program on the Environment.

I believe alumni should have a place at the table as begin the process of making changes to the program. Every few years programs like ours that focus on current real-world issues go through a re-evaluation process and often that process results in substantial changes. One of the changes currently being planned are requirements for graduation. Some questions that have come up are about how well we address environmental justice issues in the curriculum as well as increasing diversity among faculty and the student body as a whole. Other questions are about specific foundational course requirements such as chemistry, biology, statistics, economics.
