Yoooo! Family, we’re bringing the VIBE to Black Tech Night! It’s with great honor that I invite y’all to join us next Thursday, Dec 19th for the final Black Tech Night activation of the year! Words can’t begin to express how excited I am to get to share the stage with my fellow Msft brotha, from Amazon and Gap for an evening filled with networking and community building as we discuss the importance of finding community, navigating our region’s tech landscape, and how we all came to be. Much love to SeaCiti and A Space Inside for the partnership in producing the evening’s programming!

Afterwards, we’re taking the VIBE a few blocks down to for our first night activation - Black Tech Night After Hrs. DJ Bzy and Tichi will be blessing us on the sounds for an evening of amapiano, afrobeats, Neo soul, hiphop & RnB, and house. Come through and VIBE with Us as we commemorate the success of Black Tech Night, closing out the year together with purpose, connection, and inspiration.

🗣️SEATTLE! Vibe With Us: Back 2 School - A Supplies Drive for our Youth… TOMORROW, Sunday, Aug 25th, 4-8PM, 📍Monkey Loft

Much love to our supplies beneficiary: Creative Justice. Creative Justice is a community-based organization in Seattle that uses art to amplify marginalized voices, address systemic issues, and promote healing and accountability with focus on youth and young adults. If you’re not able to make our event, tomorrow, they’ll be collecting supplies as well as new clothes through Sept 12.

As for the vibes, on the loft, we’re giving 90s/00s hiphop and R&B - those nostalgic classics to take us back to our school days. On the rooftop, we’re giving us house - hip hop and rnb influences, soulful, Afrohouse… it’s gonna be a time!
