Come follow me on sharing my experience with neurodivergent with a mix of beautiful and mental health
I used to think something was wrong with me…
because no one ever showed me what safe felt like.
So I grew up learning how to survive
before I ever learned how to live.
And for a long time,
I carried that version of me… alone.
But one day, I realized something—
I could go back for her.
Not to fix her.
Not to change her.
But to finally be the person she needed.
The one who listens.
The one who stays.
The one who doesn’t make her feel like she’s too much.
Healing didn’t come from forgetting what I went through…
It came from choosing to show up for myself anyway.
I became the safe place I never had.
And I’m not leaving her again 🤍

Hey everyone! Today, I want to talk about something that's been on my mind a lot lately: the importance of reconnecting with our inner child. You know, that part of us that views the world with wonder, curiosity, and pure joy.
Life can get pretty hectic, and sometimes we find ourselves caught up in responsibilities, expectations, and the daily grind. In the midst of all that adulting, we often forget the simple joys of life—those little things that once made us smile from ear to ear.
Our inner child is the gateway to creativity, playfulness, and authentic happiness. When we embrace it, we're reminded to live in the moment and not take ourselves too seriously. It’s about giving ourselves permission to be silly, to laugh at the little things, and to explore the world with wide-eyed curiosity.
By reconnecting with our inner child, we can reduce stress and find balance. It helps us to approach challenges with a fresh perspective and reminds us that it's okay to make mistakes and learn from them. Life is a journey, not a destination, and sometimes we need to color outside the lines.
Personally, I've found that letting my inner child take the lead every now and then has been transformative. Whether it's dancing around the living room, drawing just for fun, or simply getting lost in a good book, these moments bring me a sense of freedom and joy that's hard to find elsewhere.
So, I encourage you all to take a moment and ask yourself: What would your inner child want to do today? Maybe it's something you haven't done in years, or perhaps it's a simple act of kindness towards yourself. Whatever it is, embrace it wholeheartedly and watch how it fills your life with renewed energy and happiness.
Let's make a promise to ourselves to never lose sight of that playful spirit within us. After all, life is too short not to have a little fun along the way!
