Hospice care in Seattle needs attention. While adult hospice teams are highly skilled, many are not equipped to understand the unique emotional, medical, and developmental needs of children facing life-threatening illnesses.
Children deserve care designed for children.
Families deserve support that understands childhood loss.
At Ladybug House, we believe pediatric hospice care is not optional, it is essential. We need more spaces, more trained providers, and more compassion-centered care built specifically for children and their families.
No family should have to navigate this journey feeling unseen.
