Anybody else talk to their Mom 100x a day on the phone? Just me? Ok! 😂 Being a Mom now myself, I’ve realized how badly I do NOT want to be on my phone unless I actually NEED to be for work. This has been a huge battle for me over the past few months. “Focus” & “Do Not Disturb” modes just didn’t work for me. I needed my social media OFF of my main iPhone. I needed a way to be able to continue to use my main phone when I needed it (to talk to my Mother 🤣, return personal & client texts, check email, turn on toddler songs, etc.) but I needed a way to get social media out of the realm of temptation. SO I finally had the idea to use my old iPhone as my new Social Media work phone and let me tell you - it’s been a GAME CHANGER! This phone stays in the office. This phone only gets used when I am on my office hours (unless there is a client emergency of course!) Social Media has become way more intentional now that I have set a new boundary with it AND my mind has had much more time to ponder and be filled with ideas!!! 🙏🏼💕 I want to embrace the positives of Social Media while also having intentional boundaries. It makes me a better Mom, it makes me a better creative and it also gives my mind space to ponder, think, contemplate, and talk to the Lord. 💯 How do you do with Social Media? Do you struggle, too?
