Sofia Ccorimanya and Jesse Ekanya shared their reflections on what it was like to be an MKA intern and how the experience prepared them for day-to-day life at MKA.

MKA is proud to announce that Dave Eckmann has been recognized by the American Institute of Steel Construction with a 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award!

Recognized for his leadership role in more than 100 of MKA’s projects and longtime contributions to AISC, including his status as the longest-serving member of the NASCC Technical Planning Committee where he currently serves as vice chair.

The AISC’s Lifetime Achievement Awards recognize living individuals who have made a difference in the success of AISC and the structural steel industry.
