The RainWise program depends on local landscape contractor businesses to design and build rain garden and cistern installations that slow the flow of rain 🌧️☔ into our combined sewer systems.
One of my consulting projects this year was to create these videos to present short, bite sized modules for busy people who want to install Rainwise projects.

Working with Sullivan and Taylor is always a delight!
If you know anyone interested in starting their own business, please share these videos with them! The modules cover basic business setup, taxes, licensing, hiring people, estimating, and invoicing. (Actually the videos are great for ANYONE who wants to start a business in Seattle, WA!) 😉

If you are interested in learning about watersheds, GSI and public education, check out this cool panel I am part of next week:
https://www.waterconservationshowcase.com/
Watersheds as Engagement Tool
Speakers: Dr. Elizabeth Dougherty, Cari Simson, Kat Sawyer
Host: Ryan Stroupe
8/4/20 | 9:00am - 10:20am
Too often, the concept and practices of water conservation and reuse are introduced in an environmental vacuum, lacking the deeper context of ʺwhy we conserveʺ. In this panel, we’ll be focusing on watershed health and connecting people to both their local watershed ecosystems as well as the watershed(s) ecosystems that provide potable water and ongoing motivation for conservation and reuse. We’ll be looking at case studies from Seattle, WA and California watersheds.
Water Conservation Showcase The annual Water Conservation Showcase is the flagship event in California, addresing the most pressing water issues facing the Golden State today.
