New Arrival Alert! Our first Collings “Ladybird” is here and if you don’t come and get it soon I will not be held responsible for the damage inflicted on my relationships with my coworkers if I keep it for myself. 

The Ladybird is a bit of an odd duck — poplar laminate body, poplar neck, super-short 24-1/8” scale length, Righteous Sound “Cathedral” pickups envisioned as a combination of “Charlie Christian, Teisco, and Hofner pickups,” and flat-wound strings standard — but it unlocks something in your playing that you can’t really reach with other guitars. The combination of the light and lively body, the lower string tension coupled with the longer reach, the depth and chime of those pickups… it might not be for everyone, but it’s worrisome how much we dig it here.
