Green Seattle Partnership

On February 28, Green Seattle Partnership held its first BIPOC Affinity Group meeting of the year! The Affinity Group kicked off the meeting with a partnership-building affirmation exercise in nature. Afterwards, the group discussed GSP BIPOC partner resiliency and community safety as we looked forward into 2026. 
 
The Green Seattle Partnership BIPOC Affinity Group brings together Black, Indigenous, and People of Color involved in urban forestry and restoration to foster community, share experiences, and guide equitable practices. This group is a key component of GSP’s strategic focus on racial equity, connecting stewards and strengthening community ties to land.
