This week marks the anniversary of Title IX, the landmark civil rights law that opened doors and expanded opportunities for generations of students by prohibiting s*x discrimination in education. For 54 years, Title IX has helped students access education free from discrimination, harassment, and violence. While its protections face ongoing political challenges, the need for safe, equitable learning environments has never changed.
At SVLC, we will always stand with survivors, protecting their rights as students from K-12 through college. Progress is rarely a straight line, but we won't back down from the work of ensuring every student can safely learn, grow, and thrive.
The promise of Title IX depends on all of us. Join SVLC by donating, volunteering, or sharing this post to help ensure survivors have access to justice and support when they need it most.

Today, we are saying a heartfelt goodbye to an amazing SVLC Attorney, Keren Hunt.
Keren has brought deep compassion, brilliance, and unwavering advocacy to survivors and to our team. Her work has strengthened our organization and impacted countless survivor's lives.
“I will miss my team. There is something special about working with a small team, where everyone is passionate, intelligent, and amazing humans. I will also miss working directly with survivors where I had a very real everyday impact. I have loved working for SVLC and leaving is bittersweet.” — Keren
We are so grateful for everything Keren has brought to SVLC and wish her the very best in what comes next. 💙
