Great news!

Today, the FDA’s Vaccine Advisory Committee recommended approval of the Pfizer vaccine for emergency use, with first priority going to older Americans and healthcare workers. This is fantastic news and paves the way for formal FDA approval, which is expected shortly. After such a long and challenging year, we’re excited to have a vaccine that has been tested for its 95% effectiveness and proven safety. We will be announcing our vaccination schedules for both residents and staff very soon. Not only does a vaccine protect each person that receives it, it helps us better protect all in the community. Our highest priority is the safety and health of our staff and residents – and this vaccine moves us one (giant) step closer to getting beyond this virus and getting our residents’ lives back to normal. Happy November! Excited for another month of dancing with such lovely residents via zoom! I teach weekly classes with Aegis of Issaquah and Ravenna, Merrill Gardens of University, Burien, and Campbell! As well as Trilogy! It’s been special dancing via zoom until it’s safe to dance together in person! 💕🙏🏼💃🏼🕺🏻
