It is an incredible honor to be a part of the lost and found show at the Wing Luke Museum. It it's incredibly humbling to capture this moment in memory of my own exploration in creating art.

This piece, The Bridge, will be here for over 2 years.

I make art under the name of my ancestor, Chu Ki Won. He was captain of the palace guard, minister, started a Women's College, revolutionist against the Japanese, and was an organizer for the Sam-il Movement. He was also from Pyongyang.

I made this art piece about the Orphans that were left behind. War tears families apart with cruelty and ferocity. We are bearing witness to actions in the world that has real impact in the daily life and we are living this period in time with a lot of fear, anxiety and grief. Our children are watching us.

We are living through a time of great transition.

I'm honored to announce that our art film "The Bridge" was invited to be shown at the Gene Siskel Center for Foundation For Asian American Independent Media for The 27th Annual Asian American Showcase.

This is the film format version.

It is a humble little piece, but to see it in the same venue that I would watch global art films as a nascent filmmaker in high school and college is truly a full circle moment.
