A simple palette of ample daylight, limed washed walls, and stained cedar was used to create a space that could hold the creativity of two artists.

Shelf Notes - We asked a member of our team to choose a book from our office library and share what drew them to it.

This week’s selection: Álvaro Siza, Complete Works 1952 to 2012.

“Being able to study and experience some of Siza’s work in person has been memorable. There is a sensibility in the simplicity of his forms, in the way he works with light, and in how deeply he understands context. It is moving, simple, but incredibly powerful.”

Our Canal Street project is set along a shoreline greenbelt with canal views for days, this space is all about light, openness, and connection. A central atrium pulls three floors together, while bold steel frames rise from a concrete base, structure that doesn’t hide, it shows off. Warm wood tones soften the edges, framing uninterrupted views of the ship canal and bringing a sense of calm to the industrial vibe. A workplace that feels as good as it looks.
