Seattle Atelier

My sole intention in creating these posts was to differentiate between Seattle Atelier as I founded it and what it became when the name was taken by people who are all connected through the Gage Academy of Art in Seattle.
I think it became something which was supposed to intentionally negate what I did and my reasons for doing it.
I have been a professional artist and teacher for 40 years and if I see a certain academic approach that I wish to critique I will do so. People can look at my resume and decide if that makes me an expert.

If I don't think white nationalism belongs leaking into the mainstream art scene in Seattle I will say so. But I don't just say it looks that way... I find and provide mountains of evidence published by real journalists about the people involved.

That is called informing people of the actions of others and letting them decide who they want to work with and/or for.

Does it look bad for some people in Seattle that they were on board with erasing my business? Yes, it does.
Does it look bad for anyone to partner with someone who supports white nationalism? Yes, it does.

I am allowed not only to say that my name was taken, I am allowed to say how and by whom and for what purpose.
