WHAT A TRANSFORMATION!

We love to creatively reimagine your home! This 1931 Budget Tudor needed a facelift inside and out and we worked closely with the owners to ensure we created an economic whole-house remodel to enlarge key living spaces and finish the basement area to help create usable square footage.

Principal Howard L. Miller sketched ideas with a plan to answer clients’ needs by adding two dormers to gain the space needed to relocate the stair, enlarge the bedrooms and add a bath on the second floor. The small roof over the entry porch adds some weather protection and curb appeal.

The most dramatic change involved bringing a formerly dark back stairway to the front, which is now a curving wooden staircase leading to the spacious second floor and allowing us to open the kitchen to the dining room and have a gorgeous, open star to the second floor.

A beautiful blue-gray paint, new porch and steps designed with feng sui in mind, a happy blue door, and careful landscaping amplified the curb appeal.
