Fiddleheads Forest School
Seattle's first entirely outdoor preschool at the Washington Park Arboretum. We are a University of Washington program.
At Fiddleheads the individual needs and interests of each student drive the language curriculum.
For those interested in the alphabet, materials like the wooden letters provide both the haptic and kinesthetic information that is so crucial in connecting shape to sound. As we explore the arboretum, opportunities for connecting vocabulary to objects and experience abound.
