Brad Wollen is the President and Founder of Olympic Aircraft. Brad started his aviation sales career with Cessna Aircraft Company in 1973. He was assigned to the Denver Rocky Mountain Area as a district sales manager. His responsibility was to ensure that dealers and Cessna Pilot Centers ordered their annual quota of new aircraft. A few of the dealers had difficulty selling their inventory, so Brad helped them retail their planes to enable them to take their next allotment. After three years, Brad was recruited by Monarch Aviation in Grand Junction, CO, a Cessna dealer, to serve as a retail aircraft salesperson under the guidance of an experienced, knowledgeable aircraft salesman. Brad learned a great deal during my nine years there about aircraft sales, both new and used piston and turboprop aircraft.
In 1984, he was recruited by Western Aircraft in Boise, Idaho, to establish an aircraft sales department. Westerns inventory consisted of new and used Caravan and Conquest I-II aircraft in addition to the brokerage of a few jets, including Falcons, Gulfstreams, and Hawkers.
In 1996, one of Brad's customers asked him if he would be interested in relocating to Seattle and establishing an aircraft sales department at Flight Center, which later evolved into Clay Lacy Aviation and then Modern Aviation. During his twenty-eight years in Seattle, Brad managed and sold many turboprop and jet aircraft worldwide with a team of salespeople.
In 2024, Brad left Modern Aviation for a new venture, a partnership between Zone5 and Olympic Aircraft.
