While traveling along Hood Canal this weekend, we came upon three eagles. One adult and two juveniles. Of course we had to turn around and go back so that I could photograph them.

What an amazing time and views to enjoy all things Lavender! This is their 30th year! WOW!!!
There are over 20 gardens to visit along with the festival and booths!
BUT if you can't go to the festival, many of the farms allow you to still tour them May - September to take photos and even take some lavender home with you from the U-pick farms! Try the lavender honey! One of my favorite things! (One note of caution. There are A LOT of bees, so if you are deathly allergic, please be careful!)
