Please consider donating to A Resting Place, our dear friend Derek’s grief resource center. His mission is providing comfort and meaning to people experiencing grief by hosting a free and accessible community space filled with resources and creative ways to explore one’s thoughts and feelings after experiencing loss. This space is vital and unique in its offering and it fills a void for those of us who are not religious but are spiritual. If you or someone you know is experiencing grief, there is a space for you at A Resting Place.
We have known Derek for over ten years and have been amazed by his selfless ambition to help others and his ability to connect deeply anyone. We have collaborated on art projects and community events, it’s people like Derek that make our city more culturally vibrant. He is kind and motivated, exactly the type of leader our community needs right now.
We believe in Derek and his calling to help other grievers, which is why we’re asking for your support. Any amount that you can afford or just sharing his mission through word of mouth or social media will help make our community stronger. His goal is to raise $100k by July and the campaign has gotten off to good start. Let’s keep this momentum going! Thanks for reading 🤗
