Fran Nordstrom Guild 2.0

Our Story

Frances W. Nordstrom was an enthusiastic advocate and volunteer for Children's Hospital and a member of its Board of Trustees. Following her untimely death from cancer at the age of 47, the Frances W. Nordstrom Guild was established in 1985 in her memory.

Through volunteer and fundraising activities and the generous support of friends and family, the Guild has contributed more than $3.6 million for the uncompensated care program which provides quality health care for all children regardless of their families’ ability to pay. This amount is estimated to be $126 million for the fiscal year of 2017. The Guild has also been a supporter of Seattle Children’s Research Institute.

The Fran Nordstrom Guild 2.0 is a chapter of the original guild. It was created in 2017 to continue the FNG mission while focusing on involving the next generation of advocates and donors.
