Big thank you and a heartfelt hug to Frank Adams Wholesale Florist for donating extra flowers for all 15 Charter Boats that participated in today’s Blessing of the Fleet. Everyone was able to toss flowers in memory of lost fisherman and loved ones. I love making the biodegradable wreath for the Coast Guard to toss - followed by all the flowers! I keep making it larger - and I plan to go bigger next year! All the boats were full and it is such an enjoyable ride out to the buoy and back. The solemn service reminds us to pray for our fishermen, boat owners and crew. A big delight was watching experienced crew teach the younger ones about being a deckhand. It was inspirational to see the older fisherman teach! Thank you Coho Charters, Ilwaco Wa for the ride! Great crew and company! 🩷
