I’m a Beedoodler!

Recently while struggling with how to capture bee-ness with paint, I found a lone bumblebee expired on my dining room floor. . . .perfectly intact. I suspect it entered the house with my latest bouquet of daisies and lavender from the garden, probably nestled in a nectar drunken state on an inner petal. I took it out to the studio, and while Andrew and Emma were visiting, enlisted their help and quick young reflexes to take pictures of the living ones outside on the lavender plants, capturing them in flight!...
