You know, it’s a funny thing being a maker. Although the reason that I do it is, admittedly, on some levels, selfish….. that, in and of itself would not be enough. I know deeply in my heart that they need to go out in the world to be complete. In so doing, hopefully they will be enjoyed by others !!! So, it’s so rewarding when someone’s sends us a picture like this.

Do you remember that feeling when you were about eight or nine years old and you step onto your bike on a Saturday morning and take off. The combination of feeling the known and familiar juxtapose to adventure and endless possibilitiy, moving powerfully through the world, and yet somehow solidly still, perched upon your trusty steed…..

each and every time I step into the studio and sit down behind my wheel, that is precisely how I feel!
