The Sacred Garden Project

I’m a designer of gardens and a fine artist. For the last few years I’ve been creating small contemplative spaces influenced by both Japanese and Western gardens using local plants and rocks. My objective is to create a peaceful natural setting that will inspire healing self reflection, contemplation,prayer, meditation and deep relaxation. Science verifies what most of us intuitively understand, that a well designed garden can reduce levels of stress and pain while boosting the immune system and increasing the ability to heal. The goal of the Sacred Garden Project is to offer gardens to local social service providers and low income families at no cost. I'm seeking donations from local business and individuals who are interested in helping me cover the cost of materials and labor so people who might not otherwise be able to benefit by having access to a sacred space.
