✨Berry big things are happening around here!✨

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to wake up in a historic 176 year old farm house on a working Certified Organic raspberry u-pick farm in Sebastopol?

Well for the first time ever, Boring Farm is opening its doors to the public by starting a Farm Stay!

Imagine its morning and you’re waking up to the songs of wild birds, for breakfast you’re eating fresh eggs from our free range flock, fresh raspberries from our field, and fresh sourdough bread made from the grain grown here on the farm! We love a good slow morning around here and encourage you to take in all the sights and sounds the farm has to offer during your stay with us.

As a Farm Stay, visitors are required to take an interactive tour of the property from farmer Rachel. It’s a great opportunity to learn about the history of the property, how Rachel was able to acquire it and how she is only the 2nd owner of this land since the house was built by the Taber family in 1850.

✨ We are excited to offer a new way to visit the farm this year but this business venture won’t start until after Rachel and Julian’s wedding on July 4th! ✨

A Derby Party themed Engagement Party was the perfect way to celebrate Rachel and Julian back in GA. It was a great excuse for Rachel’s family to pull out all their ribbons, hats and trophies from their horse showing days!
Even the World’s Champion Horse Show ribbon on Rachel’s hat was won by her mother at the 1974 Kentucky State Fair! It’s all the details and everyone who came all dressed up that made this day feel extra special!

The farm also looked picture perfect because of the hard work put in by Marcus and Susan Kreis Boring

Soggy girl turns 15 years old today!
Truthfully, I didn’t really expect her to make it this long after adopting her at 9 years old.
Even though she is now deaf and mostly blind, she still chases after those pesky birds that fly overhead.
Always protecting the chickens.
In true old lady deaf dog style, she is currently sleeping in, curled up on her fluffy bed.
If I don’t wake her every morning, she will sleep in until noon easily.
She likes being awake and with us, still trying to hang in with all the action the farm has to offer, but I find myself having to keep her in the house more hours of the day.
She can’t handle the heat anymore or the pace that daily farm life entails but she is still the favorite farm dog!
(she’s the only farm dog😊😘🐕)

Here’s to you Soggy momma!
I will carry you up every set of stairs, buy you every fluffy bed, and give you every ounce of loving you’ll ever allow.
You’re the best old lady ever!

Swipe to the end to see a picture of Soggy doggy’s first day here on the farm.
Makes me realize how white her face has become….

Super grateful for these two, documenting this girl over the years!
